Christ's Unshakeable Promise

Jesus promised that He would build His Church and that the gates of hell would not prevail against it. And yet, we live in a time when the Church is facing many challenges and when many congregations are closing all around us. What do we need to keep in mind as we listen to this promise of Jesus? How do we faithfully live as God's people in frightening times of uncertainty?
Do not be afraid! God is at work in our midst, and Christ's promise to His Church remains true.
